Day 22- 15/09/08

Day 22. This is the first time here that I was able to sleep in till about 8.30am. Anyway the previous night i went to bed very early, at about 11pm plus. Think I'm was the first to head for the bed. Haha. Results are out today, so first thing everyone did was to check their results once we woke up. Yup. Disappointing results to me, anyway its over already. Shant think much about it. Yup. Shall not make any more comments about it.

Went to grab breakfast at the roadside stalls behind before headed to the zoo today. Everyone or the majority just wanted to see the panda as the rest Singapore Zoo already have it.

Took a bus outside the school to Hai Yang and we walked towards the Zoo as it was nearby from the bus stop we alighted. The journey tooks about close to 2 hours including the walking distance. I shall let the pictures do the talking, it would be more interesting.

Admission ticket.
Cost: 20RMB = 4SG

Prams for rent, usually for toddlers!
The bear was sleeping sadly!

Sub-Nosed Monkey
Dog

Camel
Deer
Ostrich

Can't remember what this is. :X
Red Panda
Giant Panda
Interesting Fact: There are only 19 left in China.
Wuhan has only 2 of them the rest are in other parts of China.
Such a rare species!

Don't harm them!
They used to be this lively! :X
Swans/ Ducks?
Dog
Bear
Look at the condition the animals are living in.
Sigh. They are really very poor thing.
At least Singapore Zoo give them a man-made environment to live in.
All they have is just a cage and its not even cleanned properly.
Food inside its also very pathetic.
Sigh.
I pity those animals! ):
Kids Climbing over the first fence to feed the animals.

Had macdonalds for lunch nearby. Headed back to the hostel by bus again! Upon reaching, went to change my clothes and headed down to exercise. Played abit of badminton and volley ball while waiting for a few others to go to the nearby track to run! Feeling satisfied that I finally decided to run. :D Not long after coming back, rest for awhile it was Dinner Time. All of us helped out a bit. However the BIG THANKS should go to MR PHUA! He helped all of us cooked duck porridge! It was delicious, he is such a great chef! THANKS MR PHUA! :D Had dinner at the corridor! :D

That's my day!
